There are several precautions to take when purchasing a spare part. We have compiled everything you need to know to purchase and repair your phone without making any mistakes, whether it be during the purchase or repair process.

1. Check your phone model and version

Before purchasing a replacement part, it is crucial to ensure that it is compatible with your phone model. Pay attention to the following:

Models that look similar:

Some phones have very similar designs, but their parts are not necessarily interchangeable.

4G and 5G versions:

Some models have a 4G version and a 5G version. Be sure to choose parts that are compatible with your network version, as components may vary. For some models, this has no impact. If in doubt, please refer to our website. If we have created a 4G and a 5G category, then the parts will be different depending on the version.

European and American versions:

As with the 4G and 5G versions, specifications may differ, particularly in terms of network compatibility. For more details, please read this article, which explains how to tell the difference between an American and a European version.

-> How to find your phone model

You can find the exact model of your phone in the device settings. Go to "About phone" and note the model name and number. Consult your provider's website tree to find the right part for your smartphone.

Do you have a Samsung? Here's how to find your model.

2. Check that you have all the tools and accessories you need.

Before confirming your ecart, ensure you have all the necessary tools:

Tool kit:

A kit is included free of charge with the purchase of a screen, battery or rear glass (rear glass excluding iPhone up to series 13). For other parts, we recommend purchasing the appropriate tools.

Battery adhesive:

If you are replacing a screen with a frame, don't forget to purchase battery adhesive to reinstall it in the new frame.

You will not need adhesive if you only need to change the battery, as it will be provided automatically.

Sealing gaskets:

For battery replacements, remember to purchase sealing gaskets, as the existing one cannot be reused once the part has been removed.

B7000 adhesive is included in the tool kit, but we recommend installing a seal to prevent dust from entering your device. Depending on your phone model, the repair will require opening the phone from the front or back, or even both. Feel free to check out our tutorials beforehand to find out which adhesive seal you will need.

A heat gun:

For most repairs, we recommend using a small heat gun. It will heat to the right temperature to remove the screen, battery and rear glass.

3. Check the quality level of the product

Replacement parts are available in several grades depending on your budget and what you are looking for:

Official:

New product manufactured by the original brand.

Original quality:

New product, manufactured with the same materials as the official product, but by third-party factories.

Refurbished:

Official used part from the brand, refurbished, often in like-new condition.

Compatible:

Lowest price, lower quality products, generally less durable. They are recommended for data recovery, but not recommended for everyday use.

4. Check your delivery method

We offer several delivery methods:

- Collection point

- Home delivery

- In-store collection

We offer several carriers:

- Chronopost

- Mondial Relay

- Colissimo

Tracked letter delivery is free for orders over £39 in mainland France.

Delivery times and rates vary depending on the carrier you choose. Check the available options to choose the one that best suits your needs.

If you need your item urgently, we offer express delivery. Your order will arrive the next day if you order before 3pm (Monday to Friday).

5. Precautions to take upon receipt of your item

Before finalising your purchase, please read the return and refund policy in the Terms and Conditions on our website.

We provide some advice to follow when repairing your phone so as not to damage the part or your device. If you unfortunately encounter a problem during the repair, be sure to follow these recommendations to obtain a return or refund.

Parcel status:

Check the condition of the parcel upon receipt. If you notice that the packaging is damaged, refuse the parcel if possible.

If the parcel has been left directly in your letterbox, take a photo before opening it, or a video showing the opening, making sure to show the entire parcel. Then contact our customer service department.

Tutorials available:

Check out the tutorials available on our YouTube channel to avoid assembly errors. We explain the entire repair process, which parts and tools to use, and any special precautions to take.

Do not remove the protective covers and test the part "dry":

Do not remove the protective covers from the part until you are sure it works. To do this, test the part before installing it permanently and closing your phone.

After-sales service:

If you have any doubts before or during the repair, our customer service team is here to advise you.

If you have encountered a problem and the part is not damaged and the protective covers are still in place, an exchange or refund can be made at no cost.

Frequently encountered problems:

- Wrong part ordered: we can take it back and send you the correct part. We recommend that you refer to point 1 of this article to avoid model errors.

- Damaged or empty parcel: in the absence of proof or refusal to accept the parcel, we cannot guarantee a return or refund.

- Incorrect assembly of the part, resulting in damage to the part and/or the phone. If the part has been permanently installed and no longer has its protective packaging, we cannot guarantee a return or refund.
