This seal prevents dust and moisture from entering the iPhone 7 Plus / 8 Plus.

It is advisable to replace it after carrying out repairs to restore its original water resistance.

The seal is white and black (see photo above). This colour is original on the Silver, Gold and Rose Gold iPhones, but is also compatible with the Jet Black and Black models, which originally have an all-black seal.
