The Repair:

With the ‘free Tool Kit’, screen replacement is estimated to take 20 minutes and requires no specialist knowledge.

You will need to remove several components from your old screen:

The FaceTime camera / proximity sensor
The call-loudspeaker
The metal plate on the back of the LCD
The Home button

Replacing the screen does not affect the use of Touch ID (fingerprint recognition).

It is recommended that you use a magnetic template to avoid mixing up or losing the screws.
