- the Home button is stuck
- the Home button is stiff
- the phone no longer responds when you press the Home button
PLEASE NOTE: if you replace the original home button, Touch ID (fingerprint recognition) will no longer work. For security reasons, Apple has ensured that only the original button can activate fingerprint recognition; however, this does not prevent you from using the button for ‘normal’ functions.
