It is advisable to replace it after carrying out a repair to restore its original ‘water resistance’.
The seal is white and black (see photo above); this colour scheme is original on Silver, Gold and Rose Gold iPhone 6S PLUS models, but is also compatible with Space Grey, which original has an all-black seal.
