Description
This component connects the headphone jack, the Lightning connector, the call microphone and the network to the iPhone 6S’s motherboard; if you experience the following symptoms, it needs replacing:
- difficulty inserting a ‘charger’ into the Lightning port
- there is play in the connector
- you have to wiggle the connector for charging to start
- the sound crackles in the earphones
- you have no sound through the headphones
- You can’t sync with a computer
- The person you’re speaking to can’t hear you properly or at all
The inside of the connectors is grey; they are designed originally for a black iPhone 6S but can be fitted without any problems to a white or gold model.
