The touchscreen is integral to the Retina LCD display as they are bonded together at the factory.

The Repair:

With the free Tool Kit, screen replacement takes an estimated 15 minutes and requires no specialist knowledge.

You will need to remove the loudspeaker, microphone and sensors from your old screen

Replacing the screen does not affect the use of Face ID or 3D Touch.

We recommend replacing the seal between the screen and the phone’s chassis (not supplied with the screen but available here).
