- The chassis, cold-glued (cannot be peeled off)

The touchscreen is integral to the Retina LCD display and the chassis, as they are bonded together at the factory.

The Repair:
With the free Tool Kit, screen replacement takes an estimated 15 minutes and requires no specialist knowledge.
To ensure the Touch ID (fingerprint) function remains working, you will need to remove the home button from your original and fit it to the new screen.
We recommend replacing the sealing gasket between the screen and the phone’s chassis (not supplied with the screen but available here).

In the event of a display or touchscreen fault, the screen will be replaced promptly with a new one.
